“To provide an opportunity for the whole community of Sunbury to play tennis in a friendly environment, grow our club and the game of tennis”
We are a not-for-profit community based tennis club run by the members elected as committee for the members. For those more serious and interested in competition we have Monday Social Tennis, Tuesday ladies, Wednesday Mixed, Thursday Men's and Thursday Unisex, Saturday Open Tennis & Sunday Social Doubles, there is a place for everyone. The club has a full service for all levels of player including racquet & new ball sales, memberships categories, coaching and restringing.
Our historic and community-based tennis club is located in St. Anne’s Primary School, Stewarts Lane in Sunbury, off Elizabeth Drive. The club was originally formed way back in 1933 at our very first venue located in Macedon Street, to left of the current Police Station.
Our Club has a strong family focus and prides itself on the level of members participating in both the operation of the club, playing social tennis and competition tennis in or local associations.
The club has four en-tout-cas (red porous type) tennis courts with lighting, a club house building and ample car parking right next to the courts.
Members of the club can participate in day and night competition tennis, social tennis and have access to tennis coaching services. There are various competitions for all players including both juniors and adults. We participate in the following association both in the Macedon Ranges and the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. You may like to go to our competition page for further information.
Thanks to the following wonderful people for their ongoing commitment and service to our club both on and off the court over many years. We value our life members both past and present in Hector Bugeja, Tom O’Dea, Beth Girdwood, Paul Hackett, Kaye Roche, Leon Roche & Judy Unwin
